as you know, we saw Mr. MacIntosh together about some of the outstanding items required in Hong Kong and he said he would be coming back to London later. The items he was most concerned with were fire fighting equipment, and CEC W/T sets. The latter is being dealt with on our papers, and I was wondering if the former should not now be dealt with by this Department. In see in this file that there is a great deal of correspondence about firefighting equipment 2 which might be transferred. I have in mind items (24) (20) - there may be others.
