I have the honour to transmit herewith the minutes of the recent meeting of Information Officers in South East Asia, held here from 2nd to 4th December.

The main points of interest in these minutes were discussed at the Bukit Serene Conference which followed, and the recommendations resulting from those discussions I have already reported in my despatch No. 17.

I am sending a copy of this despatch to the High Commissioner for the Federation of alaya, the Governors of Singapore, Hong kong, North Borneo and Sarawak, H.1. Diplomatic Representatives at Hangoon Djakarta, saigon and Bangkok, and to the three Commanders- in-Chief.
