I should be grateful to know whether it has been possible to take any action on my letter to Ashley Clarke No.96575/33/50 of the 16th November, 1950.

We have gathered from paragraph 31 of the Minutes of the Meeting of Information Officers in South-cast Asia (dated the 2nd-4th Necember, 1950), that J. %. Muray în Hong Kong has made arrangements for "full and frank discussion" with the V.5.1.5., and v6 would like vary much to know where we stand with regard to this body which has caused us so much embarrassment,
