information in the last part of the letter is for

his own private information only and must not be

disclosed to the Government of India.

We are informing the Governor of Hong Kong

of the Government of India's interest in this subject

so that the question of an Indian nominated member

will not be overlooked although, of course, we cannot

make any promise that an Indian will in fact be

nominated to the Leg. Co.
