The following Bill was read a First time at a meeting of the Council held on the 25th January, 1950:-

An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to the construction and interpretation of the law applicable to the Colony and to make better provision for the interpretation of the terminology employed therein and for matters incidental thereto.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation Short title. Ordinance, 1950.
