Opportunity for additional amendment of Interpretation of the Ordinance to give effect to the definition based on the 1937 ruling is presented by the Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill I which is now under consideration by the Executive Council. I see no difficulty in adopting this course and propose to proceed as above.

2. A pre-war chart showing lines according to the 1937 interpretation has now been found. This will serve as a guide in questions of doubt until a further survey is made if such is necessary. I will send you a copy of this chart as soon as possible.
