52. Interpretation

Ordinance, 1950. (No. 2 of 1950).

Section 3.

Section 3 is amended

<<

(a) by the repeal of the definition in subsection (1) of

"Colony" or "Hong Kong" and the substitution therefor of the following

"Colony" or Hong Kong" means the whole area of land and the whole area of Deep Bay and Mirs Bay lying within the boundaries specified in the Second Schedule, together with the territorial waters appertaining thereto;"

(b) by the repeal of the definition in subsection (1) of

"waters of the Colony" or "Colonial waters" and the substitution therefor of the following -

"waters of the Colony" or "Colonial waters" means all waters whether navigable or not included within the Colony, and includes territorial waters;"

(c) by the repeal of subsection (12) and the substitution

therefor of the following

"(12) In computing a period of days from the happening of an event for the doing of any act or thing there shall be excluded the day on which the event happens or the act or thing is done and, if the geriod is less than six days, any general holiday within such period."
