P.S. We spoke. The prevines practice referred to at X1 in para 4 of (30)
appears to have date fun before the 1948 Castors agreement vide para 9 of the Annex to the Chinese Ministri note to
Ambassador. (p. 6 of and 7615/48 on top of 5416/50 attached.) This agreement did not affect the arrangements for
our
