6. THE Licenace shall if and whenever required by the Governor in writing so to do at this' own expense in all respects sonnect and keep ocsnsated with the Station the residence of the Governor,

the Colonial Secretary, the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, the Post- master General and/or members of the Board mentioned in Clause ↳ (4) and afford to such persons free of charge all such facilities shall for the time being be afforded by the Licenses to any Subscriber in pursuance of the provisions of this Licence provided that such residence shall be situated in an area in which the said service is in operation and to which the Licensee's wires extend. The mmber of

such residences shall not exceed a total of six.

THE Licensee shall keep a record of the matter distributed to Subscribers in each period of twenty-four hours showing the source of such matter with approximate times of reception and if required by the Postmaster Ceneral the incidence of Subscribers' demands.

8. (1) THE Licensee shall maintain the service to the satis- faction of the Postmaster General and all apparatus and circuit arrange ments in connection therewith ani all wires throughout the system shall conform to such conditions as may from time to time be prescribed by the Peatmaster General. The Licensee shall maintain the apparatus and wires connected with the system (except such apparatus and wires as may be provided by the Postmaster General) in good working order and shall allow any person duly authorised by the Postmaster General to inspect the Station and such wires no aforesaid and the record referred to in Clause 7 (2) at any reasonable time with or without previous notice.

(2) The Licensee shall fumish the Postmaster General with such information regarding the operation and conduct of the service as may from time to time be reasonably required.
