Dear Oliver,
REGISTRY
One of our Chinese (Willy Mak), who has been with us for three years, is proposing to go back to his home in Hong Kong in June of this year. He is anxious to obtain employment with the Hong Kong Broadcasting Station, and I should be most grateful if you could find out from them if there is any possibility of his obtaining a job.
Mak speaks both Cantonese and Kuoyu and we have always found him most reliable and trustworthy; we are indeed very sorry to lose him, but since he now feels that the time has come for him to go back, there is nothing we can do about it.
Yours sincerely,
John
