I have ust heard from John Morris that one of his Chinese staff-illy Mak intends, much to the B.B.C, 's regret, to return to his home in Hong Kong in June after three year's service with the Corporation. He speaks Kuoyu and Cantonese and has proved himself very reliable and trustworthy.
He is anxious to work in the Hong Kong Broadcasting Service and I have undertaken, at John Morris' request, to find out what, generally, are the prospects and, if there are any, how he should proceed in the matter. Will you be so kind as to let me have your comments and suggestions?
