Detailed reply is contained in my secret savingram No.100 of 16th June and includes an estimate of total capital cost of $1,400,000 and recurrent expenditure of $750,000 per annum.

The scheme involves use of half of the 5th floor of Electra House as well as 6th and 7th floors already agreed upon. Construction of Electra House will very shortly reach 5th floor level and Cable and Wireless are anxious to know within the next 14 days whether floor will be required, as air conditioning plant necessitates alteration in floor construction.
I should therefore be grateful for your
very early reply and decision on this scheme.
