Mr. Gordon Harmon is in a personal note written by Mr. Evans during his recent visit to Hong Kong (19) in 96012/15/49 below. On receipt of that report I wrote to the Chef Secretary in Hong Kong at (20) in the same file saying that we would be glad to try and find a substitute if they wished to make a change. (Mr. Harmon was appointed on contract locally; he was not selected by us).
