As I have said above, the Minister of Defence,
who has taken part in all our deliberations, will
be in a position to discuss these matters fully with you on his arrival I should however like
to take this opportunity of assuring you that
you have always hd my complete confidence in
conduct of the civil administration, and that
I am fully aware of the burden of responsibility
and anxiety which has rested and will continue to
rest on your shoulders. I have every confidence

able colleague and that the definition of your
