and try to let them have another 4 L.C.As. Crews to man these craft would have to be found locally, although this might involve depleting the Commando strength. The Commanders-in-Chief should also be advised to investigate the possibilities of obtaining landing craft locally.

Invited the Admiralty to
investigate whether, assuming craft are manned locally, 4 L.C.M. and 4 L.C.A. could be made available and shipped out.
Instructed the Secretary, subject to (1) to draft a telegram to the Commanders-in-Chief, Far East in the light of the discussions and circulate it for their approval.
