The MINISTER OF DEFENCE said that he wished to have the views of the Chiefs of Staff on certain points relating to Hong Kong which were likely to be raised during the forthcoming Debate. He also wished to know to what extent it was accept- able to include a reference in the proposed communique to the measures which were being taken to reinforce Hong Kong.
