No. 43 is the paper on "Ground Defences of Hong L. Kong" which has been cleared with the War Office.
It has also been agreed by Mr. W.I.J. Wallace, Hong Kong Department and has been seen by Mr. Trafford Smith. We have not thought it necessary to consult Eastern Department as their interests are fully saved. Draft covering letter for your signature herewith.
