I should mention that your telegram containing. the conclusions of the C.0.5. was handed to me yesterday evening (though I see that it is marked as having been received on the 16th, which indicates that in Hong Kong as in the 0.0. telegrams like this sometimes teke a little time to get into circulation). I gather that the Governor is having a meeting to discuss this tomorrow morning but his only time is at the time already fixed for my meeting with the Unofficial Members of Ex. Co. But I have got a meeting with him tomorrow afternoon at which this and other matters will be discussed.
