Left Wing Federation of Trade Unions has

now applied for registration under Societies

Ordinance. K.M. T. still manoeuvring for continued

existence under another form. Various left wing

groups, headed by K. L. T. Revolutionary Commit.ee

and Democratic League addressed memorandum to

Government, 20th June deploring the Societies

Ordinance as harmful to friendship with China. Non

committal reply sent referring signatories on to

Registrar of Societies.
