I understand that Paskin has spoken to

you about Grantham's reply (of which I

enclose a copy) to my telegram about your

proposed visit to Hong Kong. I-om

asserdingly now goring my Secretary of State to submit the proposal to the Prime Minister

for his approval.

When we have received this, we will let

Grantham know that you expect to arrive in

Hong Kong on the 19th July, that you would

like to leave on the 29th,and that you

welcome his suggestion that Moreton and

Ellis should go to Hong Kong while you are

there.
