I am directed by Mr. Secretary Greech Jones to refer to the arrangements under which Chief Inspector F.J. Coveney recently visited the Federation of Kalaya and Hong Kong to advise on aspects of Police Special Branch ōrganisation.
I am to express, on behalf of the Goverments of the Federation of Malaya and Hong Kong, appreciation and thanks for the valuable assistance which Chief Inspector Coveney rendered to the Commissioners of Police of these territories. suggestions and advice have greatly helped the two Police Forces each of which is faced with a vital and exacting task.
