If, in accordance with the position taken up by the United States, fact that the sovereignty over a territory did not belong to the Administering Authority was a sufficient reason for ceasing to transmit information, the Committee should take note of that fact with reference

to Kowloon and the New Territories.

The CHAIRMAN observed that the opinion attributed to the United States in document A/915/Add.1 was in reality rather that of

Panama.
