With reference to your telephone conversation with Mr. Kellar of 11.8.49, this is to confirm that we have received a cable from our representative in Hong Kong, dated 9.3.49, stating that the Hong Kong Government have now agreed to pay for the accommodation and the return air passage of a technical expert, who will install and advise on the running of special telephone equipment in Hong Kong.
