With reference to my examination before the Commission on the 7th instant, I desire to make the following corrections and statement.

On reading through my evidence, I find that owing to some misunderstanding my remarks refer to Ki Jung Wan cemetery, and not to Cheung Sha Wan. With regard

to this gametary, I have no distinct recollection of any particular dispute.

With reference to Yr Hooper's question, conditions cf contract are as follow:- *10. In the event of the contractor being dissatisfied "with any directions, he may receive from the Sanitary "Surveyor or other officer in charge of the work, or "with any assessment` made by him under the provisions "of these conditions of contract, he may appeal to the "Sanitary Roard, stating his case in writing, and the "Board shall deal with such appeal in such manner as it "deema expedient, and its decision shall be binding on

"all farties and final".

In answering the question as to whether I had any

I said "No". I understood the question

to relate to the present time.

From the early part of 1898 until the end of 1903,

I received several small sums of money from England,

amounting to about £150.
