It tends to questions which the Commission wish to put
to you, Mr Bryan, and which you have got to answer. You
are here under oath, and you have got to answer any
questions that I or any other member of the Commission
wish to put to you. I dont allow any discussion. In
January 1903, you paid in $120, including a dividend
warrant of about $200 and notes and cash. You appear
to have had some share transactions with a man called
Michael?

Only so far as this, that I bought shares from him
which he promised to sell for me without any
commission. I dont think he let me in for anything,
except that his advice was not very good in one or two
cases, but I cannot say that he really let me in for
any money.
