Les: -
I understand, Mr Lee, that - of courge later on, I will
but I understand that you swear you, if necessary have expressed a wish to appear before the Commission,
O
to make certain statements, and of course the Commission
will be quite glad to hear anything that you have to
say, but I must tell you that of course your case has been dealt with by the Governor in Council, and that any statement you make before us is purely voluntary, and you may go on with the matter or withdraw at the last moment, if ya desira. I cannot possibly say that anything you may tell us will help you at all, but anything you do say will be put before His Excellency the Governor in Council in the usual way.
I would like to ask if my statement will be published. Well, any statements that are made, Mr Tee, will, as a
matter of course go to mis Excellency the Governor. It does not necessarily follow that all the evidence is to be published. In fact, some of it may have to he
sw pressed.
But I should not like it published, if my name is mentioned as giving this evidence, because it might be detrimental to me in getting a situation.
