21. Extracts from the Local Press. Min Yien Pao and Chun Min Jih Pao published articles on the compulsory removal of some 2000 poor people from the Chinese town of Kowloon (Hongkong). The gist of these articles is that "Kowloon and Hongkong" and "Dairen" are two questions which though explicitly bound up with the Sino-British and Sino-Russian treaties remain unsettled. To think that these two cases come from Allied Powers who had fought with China against their common enemy!
