nationality, of whom I imagine there must be at any rate some in Hong Kong or the leased territory. Then there would be the question of the law to be applied, and there we might break down again, but we should have at any rate a strong ground for arguing that a few acres in the middle of an area under British jurisdiction can hardly have a different law from that prevailing in the country immediately outside.
