I attach a letter which Mr. Rees-Williams has received from

Mr. James Harrison, M.P., who was a member of the recent Goodwill Mission to China and is speaking about matters concerning that country at several public meetings in the near future. Mr. Harrison would like to have some background information of the recent troubles in Hong Kong and Canton, and Mr. Rees-Williams would be grateful if you would let him have the draft of a reply to

Mr. Harrison on this matter.
