Reuters, Associated Press, etc., carries statements that Murray, Press Attache, was injured and that he and his wife and my lady Secretary were attacked and that left premises earlier than them when mob began to get ugly, This is quite incorrect. They left near the beginning of the incident and for that reason, I understand, were not severely attacked and certainly no injured. I left an hour or twe after them. Please have corrections given to Press as statement is very damaging. They have all three now let ✨ for Hong Kong.
