Governor of Hong Kong expressed the view that the presence of the G.0.C. on his Legislative Council has been most useful and trusts that if any change of policy on this question is decided upon, G.0.0. in Hong Kong should retain his present membership of the Legislative Council until change in composition of the Hong Kong Legislative Council takes place as a result of proposals now under examination for reconstitution of its membership.
