10 Q.

The Chairman:-

A.

I dont mean you personally, but you inferred that the Board would pass an inferior thing, done by the landlord, than what they do themselves.

I mean to say that you have an infected premises here, and you want to exercise greater care than ordinary, because the place is infected.

By putting on limewash thicker, because we have been 15710 told that the only good limewash is, is for cleanliness, and that there is no disinfectant in it. But we wont

go into that any further.

I have been looking through the details of revenue

here,

and I take it that they would not include the

fines from the Sanitary Board ?

No, it would not be included in that. It is under

deposit unavailable.

Hr Humphreys:

It is a sort of secret pocket money, which the Government holds for the benefit of the Sanitary Department. They dont put it into the Colonial Revenue

at all.

15774

A.

15712

A.

I have books against the Government shewing that we

have this money, and if it is wanted at any time, we

get it.

Are these the only books ?

157713

No, these are the only books.
