Page 1568, bottom of page, "I sent an indent in,

think, to Inspector H. Gidley's office, for Jayan

Fluid". I should have said "from".

I dont know, if you read the continuation of that

answer. (Quotes).

I was in Inspector Gidley's office, and I signed the

indent in his office, and he sent it as usual to the

Secretary, who instead of supplying Jeyes Fluid,

supplied Carbolosene.

Page 1569, question 13410, "he told ke it was ordered by Dr Clark. I went and asked him why he had made the

substitution, and he told me he had been told by Woodcock that there was a large amount of Carbologene

used in the store". It should be "umeed" in the store.

Next

answer, "but we still have a few barrels*. It

should be "we still had a few barrels".

Page 1570, question 13419, I said "it was a written question". I understand the question to mean "did you ask Inspectör Reidie, or did Dr Clark ask Inspector Reidie". I certainly did not ask Inspector Reidio to

advise about Carbolosene. The answer should bé *it was

a written question by Dr Clark, addressed to Inspector

Reidie".

Page 1578, question 13468, "so that it took three yanğı

to work off the stook". The answer to that needs an

explanation. What I intended to say was that I found that an indent for Jeyes Fluid, which had been signed

by п,

had been setaside, and Carbolosene used inakesÁ, In several cases, throughout here, the chemical names are wrong. For example, sodium of carbonate, should be

sodium curbslate.
