There is no mean of telling that they stick to the regulations ?

There is no means of telling that I stick to my regulations, and do my duty. Each man must be trusted a certain extent.

Have you any idea what they do in every plague atrick house ?

They have to disinfect the floor, on which each plagu case occurs, and they have to give it Jeyes Fluid. T18! haye to take away the clothing of the people, send it to the Disinfecting Station. Very often, they have to use a spray.

Have they the power to compel people to take off thei: clothing, and put on what is provided by the Sanitary Board ?

Under the Bye Laws, for "disin- fection of infected premisar" (quotes) "if any artic? of clothing, or bedding, or any other article which h bean in contact with any person or any dead teav, in any way effect by auch disease, can, in the opinion the Medical Officer of Halth, or cf & Sanitary Insper be preserved without danger to the public health, and dan be effectively isinfected, then any such article shall be removed from any premises, in which if shall found by any person acting under the instructions of *
