He would have to produc- his rat. It has to go to the

Mortuary. We dont, in the gan.tary Department, diagnose

plague amongst rats.

I have got a twe in my mind, and I will give it to you.

It was reported. The matter has not been fully gone

into by cae Commission, but I can tell you this, as

possibly true. A dispute arose between a certain

ganitary official, and an individual - a Chinaman. The

Chinaman's contention that he was punished for the

dispute he had with this man. He was ordered t.... turn

out his houe twice in two days, because they said a

dead rat was found on the premises. Now, is it possible

that a dead rat was put there, or that the dead rat

never existed, and that the place in consequenɑ● was

ordered by somebody to be limewashed ?

How does the shopṛṇan know. They say we found a dead rat
