I dont know much about that. I dont take any interest. Then, from your knowledge of Sanitary Authorities at flers home, you said just now that it is presided over by a
Chairman - if it is a Borough, it would be the Mayor,
if a local authority, it might be just the Chairman,
and an elective body of ratepayers to constitute the

Board or Council they have, as an adviser, the Medical Officer of Health, who advises them on all
matters 1slating to hygiene and medical matters, infection and so on. With regard to building construct- ion, so far as it relates to sanitation, would they not
have an adviser in the Borough Engineer ↑
