Where did Inspector Woolley live then?

In Elgin Street. I have got it down in my books several

2141

times and the money was paid back to me, and my younger bro

-ther received it. The writing is in there.

You supplied the Coal and your younger brother received the 2/9%

money?

He told my younger brother to buy for hir, not I. He did

not tell me and he paid every month that he got his salary,

That is what my younger brother told me.

2

The entries in the books show you buy so much Coal. you pay 1/45"

so much money and you receive so much money from Inspector Woolley ?

Yes.

How is it that you are so careful to put all these entries Ligh

in the books for Mr Woolley when you do not put in entries

when you receive money from the Sanitary Board ?

Because the money is paid in full by the Sanitary Board each month and when the Inspectors buy, it may be two or three months before it is paid. You have to ask then for it.

What other Inspectors do you supply in the same way ↑
