Secretary are dated 17th December 1905. These Standing

Orders were, I suppose, passed by the Board?

A: They were passed by the Board. about two days before the

And so far as the Board is concerned, they have never can- 1262

-celled these Orders and they are still standing ?

What I am not sure of and, as I understand it, the Principle

Civil Medical Officer has the staff entirely under him and

therefore these Standing Orders are practically a guide for

the Principle Divil Medical Officer as to the duties of the

different officers .
