There are many sanitary stores ?

A book is kept of the amount each Inspector is requisition-

-ing for. That book is gone over frequently and if the Inspector should use too much I ask the Medical Officer of

Health for an explanation. As a matter of fact I go and

speak to him about the matter and talk it over with him and

if too much is used by any particular Inspector an inquiry

is made.

Do you go over the book personally?

Af- Yes, I go over it personally, also Mr Bowen Rowlands who

really has care of that book. The book started about three

or four years ago.

Would it not be practicable that the Secretary order all

these stores and keep them in a certain place and when an

Inspector requisitions for them the Secretary supplies them?

Could that not be done instead of getting stores from the

PUBLIC RECORD OFFICE
