The Ovorssa Defence Committee hao approved in principle the proposal for establishment of a combined force subject to further consideration of the status of the civilian component about which despatch followb, You and the Service Commanders are requested to prepare the necessary detailed plans to bring ombined force into existance.
It is now fully agreed that the military component of the force should be organised in its first phase as approximately one Infantry battalion with essential suxiliaries; and if you are how satisfied with the progross made Pegarding the details of the force, I fully agree with your intention that recruitment for that component should begin next month.
