Colonial Office are anxious that effective action should be taken with least possible delay to reduce and if possible to terminate Kuomintang influence in Hong Kong.

3. I should be grateful for your considered views by despatch, with special reference to paragraph 7 of above mentioned despatch. A summary should be telegraphed.
