It would also, I think, be a good idea
to let Sir M. Young have a copy of the draft despatch, so that he may have an opportunity of studying it before he discusses it in the Office. I have, therefore, prepared as well a draft letter,, which I have provisionally marked for
Sir T. Lloyd's signature. The draft may need some modification when we receive the reply from Sir M. Young to the letter from Sir T. Lloyd which I arranged for the shipping company to delivery to Sir M. Young on board the "Strathnaveƒ".
