3. Continued control of any other important installations in the New Territories, e.g. the airport, if constructed.

4. Grant of facilities to the Hong Kong Government for constructing any further installations in the New Territories which might be regarded as necessary or desirable in the interests of the Colony.

5. The recognition by the Chinese Government of the existing rights of the individuals who have settled in the New Territories, unless, of course, this would be a normal condition which need not be specifically stated."
