We have received, through our Private Secretary's office, copies of your Secretary of State's letter to Mr. G.E. Mitchell of the China Association (54145/47 Eastern Annex) of the 21st February, and of the (qo) – documents referred to therein.

We are always much interested in any of the activities of the China Association. I should be glad therefore if you could let us have a copy of the aide memoire left by the China Association with Mr. Creech Jones and, if available, a record of what passed at the interview on the 12th December.
