Unemployed Flock Into Hong Kong
The population of the colony of Hong Kong is increasing at the rate of 60,000 a month, Reuter reports.
Difficult living conditions in the neighbouring Chinese districts are responsible for thousands of Chinese crossing the frontier in search of work. Many are farm hands, who havé suffered heavily owing to failures of recent rice crops, together with the, high cost of living in Kwangtung.
The constant influx of unemployed Chinese is causing some concern as the food situation is becoming serious,
