Dear Sir,

I am directed by my Committee to write and inform you thɛt if the Chambers of Commerce in Singapore are accorded the privilege of nominating their representatives to sit on the Municipal Commission, the Indian Chamber of Commerce shorid receive similor privilege.

In this connection I ray point out that the members of this Chamber transact over 80% of export and import trade to and from India and this Chamber is the only All Indian Commercial organisation registered under the Companies Ordinance in this country -
