(Note:- The classes specified above are substantially

the same as those mentioned in Section 3(4) of the Urban

Council Ordinance, 1935, but this list makes eligible for

registration the following persons exempted from jury service

who were not previously eligible as electors:

Veterinary Surgeons (d);

Local Pilots (i);

Persons holding offices or situations of emolument

under the Government of the Colony or the

Municipal Council (k); and

Salaried functionaries of foreign Governments not

carrying on business (1). )
