Q..
Before we go on, there is a question with regard to Wr Allan's evidence, question 11192, "and you say that is not done as regards the plague Ins, eators ?" and your answer as reported, you say is not what you intended to
say?
19.993
Yes. The prosecution is done by us, but before we prosecute, I have always given a letter asking the letter to be served on the person, explaining that the work has been hadly dune, and if not done after the latter is served, I prosecuts, that is, with the instructions of the M.0.H. But I have not done any prosecutions for the last two years practically. Once I had a lot of concrete work in hand, and Dr Clark, passed the papers and the work over to the Surveyor, for him to deal with the person concerned as he thought fit. That is the only explanation you want to make ?

Yes, I have practically done no prosecutions these last three years. I have always got my work done with out. And what I understand you to mean is, that if the 19.995 Inspectors point out when the work is going on that the work is not correct, you ought to get the work done good, without proceeding to prosecute ↑
