Who chooses the houses you are to inspect at night ?

I should say it was the Senior Inspector, because I

complained to the District Inspector. I had a warrant

for a certain house, and when I went there, it was

empty, and on two or three other occasions, where the

houses have been entirely contrary to what was stated

on the warrant. It said "Coolie house", and when I got

there, I found it was a godown, and had been a godown

for years. I complained to the District Inspector of

that District, because I thought he had made out those

zarrants.

And who was that?

19224

That was Inspector Pearson, and he replied it had noth-

ing at all to do with him. He sent in the measurements,

and Inspector Lyon went through the measurement book,

and took out which he thought proper.

And Inspector Lyon made out those warrants ↑
