first six months of 1901. I returned from leave in

August 1901, and from that date I have been President of the Sanitary Board.

Then you were President of the Sanitary Board when the bigs

And in that Bill, section 16, was the section this: "The Sanitary Commissioner shall be paid from the Colonial Treasury such salary and allowances as the Governor with the consent of the Legislative Council may from time to time determine, and he shall be Administrative Head of the Sanitary Department".
